Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ZEU Studio (“ZEU Studio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage us to design, build, or market a website. We only ever use your information for the purposes set out below.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, email us at george@zeustudio.co.uk.

1. Who we are

ZEU Studio is a custom web design and digital marketing studio founded by George Valker, working with small businesses across the UK and internationally. For the purposes of UK data protection law, ZEU Studio is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Contact: george@zeustudio.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a contact or quote form, email us, or engage us for a project, we collect details such as your name, email address, business name, and anything you choose to include in your message or brief.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website we may collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, and how you use the site, through cookies and analytics tools (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

We do not knowingly collect special-category data (such as health, racial, or political information) and ask that you do not send it to us.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to your enquiry and provide quotes, deliver the services you engage us for, communicate with you about your project, operate and improve our website, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, optional cookies); the performance of a contract (to deliver services you have engaged us for); our legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries, run and secure our website, and operate our business in a way that does not override your rights); and compliance with a legal obligation.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use it. Analytics tools help us see which pages are useful and where we can improve.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

6. Sharing and third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers to run our business and website, for example, website hosting and infrastructure (such as Vercel), email, and analytics. These providers process information on our behalf and only in line with our instructions.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ZEU Studio, our clients, or others.

7. Advertising and analytics platforms

As part of our digital marketing services, we help clients run paid media campaigns on platforms including Google Ads and Google Analytics, as well as other advertising networks. Where we manage a client’s advertising or analytics accounts, we access and process data within those platforms solely to set up, run, optimise, and report on campaigns on that client’s behalf.

Any access to Google platform data is used only to provide and improve these services for the client, is handled securely, is not sold or transferred to third parties for unrelated purposes, and is processed in accordance with the relevant platform terms, including the Google API Services User Data Policy and Google Ads policies.

8. International transfers

ZEU Studio operates internationally, and some of our service providers are based outside your country. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy, for example, to deliver a project, maintain our business records, and meet legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email george@zeustudio.co.uk and we will respond within the time required by law.

If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

12. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page, and any significant changes will be made clear here.

14. Contact us
